Interviewer: Today, I'm interviewing Prof. Peter Wolstencroft, whose responsibilities at Manchester Metropolitan University, as described in his academic profile, include working with education leads in each department to ensure that all our students have a great experience at Manchester Metropolitan University. The subject of the interview is Higher Education Teaching Practice. Prof. Wolstencroft has published on the subject, and links to his work accompany this interview. As it happens, the title of Prof. Wolstencroft's position on each webpage comes in two forms, which, together, nicely set the theme for this interview. How do you see teaching, learning, and education relate to the others in higher education, in what, for many young women and men, is the expected stage between school and the world of work?
