Interviewer: Today I'm interviewing Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez, on his article in Harvard Business Review of third of February, 2023 how AI will transform project management, written with co-author Ricardo Viana Vargas. A link to Antonio's biography accompanies this interview. Listeners are expected to have read the article before listening. Incidentally, I'm being informal in my introduction because Antonio has asked me to address him by his first name. Antonio, thank you for taking this interview. Let us for the moment adopt your vision of the future as set out in your article. In as hands-on practical terms as possible, what should an existing or would be project manager do, over what period and how to be an in-demand professional in the future? Mr. Nieto-Rodriguez: Neil, thank you for the invitation to be here to have this interview with you. I love what you're doing in education. To your question, I think one thing that I write and I've researched is that there's a clear trend where the work that organizations are focusing on is project-based. With the rise of automation in operations being carried out by artificial intelligence and robots, the big majority of people today work in projects.
