Interviewer: Today I'm interviewing Mr. Barry Libert, CEO of AIMatters, on the article he co-authored with Thomas H. Davenport titled "Product-led growth companies find a new way to serve customers" published in the MIT Sloan review on the 7th of September 2022. Listeners are expected to have read the article before listening to the interview. Mr. Libert thank you very much for sparing the time. In the third paragraph of the article, you describe four key attributes of the types of products you described and present examples. In the penultimate paragraph, you make a very succinct statement about this type of product. I quote: "Products have to be appealing both to the individual consumers as well as businesses and they have to develop offerings of obvious value to those customers". These products, you argue, are human salesperson-like. This is a relatively new category of product, a product of the digital age. Their existence stimulates many questions about their future. I'd like to throw some at you. How important in terms of long-term value is it to be the first incumbent of the user needs space? What happens when an incrementally better mousetrap comes along? Can replacement by the better mousetrap
