The objectives are as follows: Understand the common AI (artificial intelligence) terms and definitions. Understand the history of AI and its role in oncology. Examine AI's impact on clinical development and diagnosis. Explore AI applications in drug discovery and development. Explore AI's impact on clinical research. Consider where AI is headed and general concerns.

The things we need to think about are that we need to ensure that there's data privacy, there's an ethical use of AI, how one can integrate AI into clinical workflows, and that there is regulatory compliance.

If we think of AI and its transformative impact, there's accelerating, which is drug discovery and development, enhancing clinical development, improving cancer diagnostics, addressing regulatory and healthcare professional challenges, streamlining workflows and reducing costs. AI can be used to help in cancer predictions, screening, patient input, cancer diagnosis, therapy guidance, and response assessment to treatment. This can also guide the clinician and also dictate how surveillance could occur.
