Biography
Dr. Kennedy studied the role of Natural Killer (NK) cells in reproductive disorders for her PhD at the University of Cambridge, UK, with Professor Ashley Moffett. Genetic associations with NK cell receptors led her to study how these receptors signal during a post-doc at the University of Manchester, UK, where she worked with Professor Daniel Davis using super-resolution microscopy to explore how genetic diversity of NK cell receptors impacts their organization in the cell membrane. Dr. Kennedy is currently a post-doc at the University of Minnesota, USA, studying how NK cells can be manipulated to treat cancer; working with Professors Jeffrey Miller and Martin Felices.
