Therefore, we developed a course on aging to provide a comprehensive overview of the history, current state and future prospects of the field.
The course will be consisting of four sections. The first section will focus on an introduction to aging. The second will describe models and approaches, while the third will be focused on mechanisms of aging and age-related diseases. Finally, the fourth section of the course will focus on future directions for aging research and therapies based on our understanding of the field.
Each lecture is given by an internationally recognized expert in the topic, and will provide students and researchers with an overview of the current state-of-the-art and future directions for the respective area. Research on the biology of aging has an unparalleled potential to improve human health and life, and we hope this course stimulates the best and brightest students to work on uncovering its mysteries.
