The scope of this series encompasses the regulation of transcription by chromatin and RNA polymerase II, which are the key controlling factors in development, and their misregulation results in the pathogenesis of a number of human diseases including cancer. The series will include lectures from the leaders in the field of transcription biology, chromatin biochemistry and genetics and developmental biology. The series will discuss how modifications of chromatin and transcription factors could serve in the regulation of epigenetics and disease pathogenesis.
