Biography
Prof. Susruta Majumdar is Professor of Anesthesiology at the Center for Clinical Pharmacology, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He earned his PhD in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Florida after completing his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Organic Chemistry at the University of Delhi. His research focuses on the design of safer opioid and non-opioid analgesics by integrating medicinal chemistry with biochemical, genetic, structural, and pharmacological approaches. Prof. Majumdar's laboratory has made significant contributions to understanding opioid receptor signaling and developing novel therapeutic candidates for pain management and opioid use disorders, several of which are advancing toward clinical translation.
Dr. Vipin Ashok Rangari is a researcher at the Center for Clinical Pharmacology, Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, USA. His research focuses on medicinal chemistry and pharmacology, with an emphasis on developing novel therapeutics for pain management through the study of opioid and cannabinoid receptor signaling.
