Biography
Dr. Teresa Fecteau is Director of Medical Affairs with the Biogen US Medical Rare Disease Team. She leads strategy, planning, and implementation efforts, for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Dr. Fecteau received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Maine and completed a specialization in Behavioral Medicine/Medical Psychology during residency and post-doctoral fellowship at the Duke University School of Medicine. She has extensive experience as a clinician, medical educator, researcher, and leader within the pharmaceutical industry, academic medicine, and VA/DoD environments, with the past decade largely focused on Rare Neuromuscular Diseases and driving awareness of the overarching importance of equitable access to empirically driven multidisciplinary care for chronic, intractable illnesses.
