Hi, everyone,
I'm Dr. Jose Mendoza from NYU.
Today, I'm thrilled
to talk about
a subject that is
truly reshaping
the marketing and
sales landscape:
artificial intelligence (AI).
This is not just a buzzword.
AI is rapidly becoming
an essential tool that
businesses must understand and
leverage to stay competitive.
0:23
Over the next several minutes,
we'll explore how
AI transforms how
we engage with customers and
drive innovation across
various marketing and
sales functions.
We'll look into
real-world examples to
understand the practical
applications of AI and
discuss how you can start
integrating these technologies
into your strategies.
Whether you are new to AI or
are already
experimenting with it,
my goal today is to
provide you with
a clear understanding
of how AI can be
a game changer for
your business.
Let's dive in.
0:56
Let's start by defining
artificial intelligence.
At its core, AI is
a simulation of human
intelligence by machines.
This means that computers can be
programmed to perform tasks that
typically require
human intelligence,
such as learning,
problem-solving,
and decision-making.
AI encompasses a broad
range of technologies.
For example, some AI
systems are designed to
learn from data, which we
call machine learning.
Others might be built
to understand and
generate human language,
a field known as natural
language processing.
It's important to know that
AI is not just one technology,
but a collection of
different technologies
working together.
AI is incredibly versatile,
from basic automation
like sorting emails,
to more advanced
applications like
predicting customer behavior.
When we talk about AI
in marketing and sales,
we are talking about
applying these capabilities
to understand customer
needs better,
automate repetitive tasks,
and ultimately make more
informed decisions.
