Welcome to a short course about a scale of
managerial responsibility regarding artificial intelligence.
My name is Dusan Kucera,
and I'm the Assistant Professor at the University of Economics teaching Business Ethics.

I will try to formulate briefly the goal of the course.
We would like to develop our understanding of the complexity
of managerial responsibility and IT expert,
understanding of ethical challenges and consequences in
technological development of autonomous systems or artificial intelligence.
We would like to identify necessary theoretical foundations for
the contextual responsible thinking and decision-making process in our technological age.
I would like also to offer
a critical perspective of modern idea regarding technological progress.
In order to understand the artificial intelligence,
first we have to remember what it means, the human intelligence.
In the next point I offer development of our ability to
distinguish the ethical dilemmas we meet generally in the industry 4.0.
The next point I wish to formulate necessary resources and the criteria of or
responsible ethical behavior in the frame of
artificial intelligence, and autonomous systems.
So let's demonstrate some practical cases
of ethical dilemmas in the frame of technological developments.
All this we do in order to avoid serious ethical troubles.
I mean, the human, social,
or environmental conflicts for today or future generation.
