Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors
This learning journey is designed to introduce immune checkpoint inhibition in cancer immunotherapy, and how it works. Two specific types of inhibitors: CTLA-4 inhibitors and PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors are discussed, and the role of checkpoint blockade in specific solid tumours is also explored.
