Biography

Arnold Driessen is a Professor in Molecular Microbiology at the University of Groningen. He received his PhD in 1987 at the same university where he developed in vitro methods to study transport processes with isolated membranes of fermentative bacteria and fungi. In 1989 he joined the group of Prof. W.... read moreWickner at the University of California, Los Angeles as a postdoc. In 1990 he returned to the University of Groningen and since 1997, he has been a full professor.
