Dr. Agorogiannis is a consultant ophthalmologist with a specialist interest in uveitis at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital (MREH). He graduated first in his class from the University of Thessaly Medical School, Greece. Dr Agorogiannis completed his ophthalmology specialist training in Liverpool, and a fellowship in medical retina and uveitis at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London. Before joining MREH in 2022, he was a consultant ophthalmologist at Oxford Eye Hospital. Dr Agorogiannis is the lead for adult uveitis research at MREH and has an interest in biomarkers of immunosuppression and immune profiling of patients with uveitis. In addition to his duties at MREH, he is an associate editor at BMJ Open Ophthalmology and serves as an examiner for the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
