Biography

Pandiyan Natarajan did his M.B.B.S., D.G.O., M.D., from Madras Medical College and University of Madras, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and M.N.A.M.S from National Board of Examinations and National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. He was the first Indian to be officially trained in Andrology and Reproductive Sciences. He and his team started the first Voluntary semen bank in India in 1988. They reported for the first time in the world on Cryopreservation of Epididymal spermatozoa in 1993 and Testicular tissue in 1997. He ran several higher training programs in Andrology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and Embryology at Chettinad Academy of Research and Education.
