Biography

Dr. Simon Hunt is a retired University Lecturer in Immunology (1974-2012), Dunn School of Pathology, University of Oxford, U.K. He is also a Emeritus Fellow of Keble College, University of Oxford, UK.... read more

His research interests throughout his career have focussed on lymphocytes, their subsets, and how and where they develop (lymphopoiesis). Amongst other topics, his group once studied clonality in germinal centres of the rat as a model organism. His is now developing a Cell Population Array Imager which measures dynamic changes of large populations (thousands) of fluorescent single, freshly-isolated lymphocytes simultaneously.
