Trevor J. Pemberton is an assistant professor of biochemistry and medical genetics at the University of Manitoba. He received his undergraduate and postgraduate training in molecular genetics at the University of Sussex before pursuing his postdoctoral training in human genetics at the University of Southern California, the University of Michigan,... read moreand Stanford University prior to joining the faculty at the University of Manitoba in 2013. Trevor’s current areas of interest are understanding how human population history and cultural practices influence patterns of genetic variation and how the geographic distribution of human genetic variation relates to the susceptibility of different populations to disease.
