Charles W. Archer is Professor of Reparative Biology and Tissue Engineering at the School of Biosciences, Cardiff University and the Cardiff Institute of Tissue Engineering and Repair (CITER). He is also Head of the connective tissue biology laboratories within biosciences. He graduated from the University College of Swansea in Zoology... read moreand completed his PhD on the effects of pulsed magnetic fields on fracture healing. He then carried out postdoctoral work at the Middlesex Hospital Medical School on cartilage morphogenesis under Prof. Lewis Wolpert before moving to the Institute of Orthopaedics, University College London as Lecturer and then Senior Lecturer in Cell Biology before moving to Cardiff.
