Dr. Pierre-Antoine Defossez CNRS, Paris, France

Pierre-Antoine Defossez received his undergraduate training at Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, and obtained his PhD from Institut Pasteur in Lille, France. He carried out postdoctoral research at MIT, and established his own lab in Paris in 2003. His team investigates the proteins that bind methylated DNA in mammals.
