Hello and welcome to
this introduction to
the Agile Value
Management Office or VMO.
My name is Sanjiv Augustine
and I'm with an organization
called LitheSpeed.
0:14
So, LitheSpeed is a management
consulting and training company
headquartered in
the United States
in the Washington DC area.
You see some of our industry
recognition that
we've gotten over
the last 15 years or so on
the bottom left-hand
side of your slide,
you see some of our enterprise
transformation clients
to the bottom-right
and perhaps most germane
to our talk today is
our mission towards the
top-left, which is about
making people's
work more valued,
productive, and fulfilling.
As such, over the last 10
years we've been involved in
this movement that
has come to be
called an Agile Value
Management Office or VMO.
I'll be talking more
about that in a second.
1:00
Let's look at our agenda.
What I'd like to do is
to cover the value
proposition if you will.
Why an Agile VMO.
Why do we need it?
Whats the business proposition?
What are some of
the outcomes, etc.
Then, we'll talk
about what it is.
What is an Agile VMO,
how do you put it
together? Who's in it?
What roles and
responsibilities do they have?
Then, we'll get into the
specifics of the activities and
responsibilities as in how do
we implement an Agile VMO?
Then, we'll close out
with some next steps
for you to take this
material forward
and learn more about the VMO and
perhaps get started
with practicing,
with setting up, and
implementing your own Agile VMO.
