There are great ideas in
artificial intelligence and
how we can apply it for
the coming decades in our daily lives.
There are possibilities
in cognitive analytics,
parallel information-processing,
we have deep learning and
face-reading machines, but let's remember
that many things are not only used for
smarter homes, cars and
infrastructure, but also as weapons.

I would like to open a very special
book in this context from Yuval Harari,
the book has the title 'Homo Deus
(man as a god): A Brief History
of Tomorrow' is the subtitle.
We read: "If scientific discoveries and
technological developments
split humankind into a mass of
useless humans and
a small elite of upgraded superhumans, or
if authority shifts altogether away
from human beings into the hands
of highly intelligent algorithms,
then liberalism will collapse.
What new religions or ideologies
might fill the resulting vacuum and
guide the subsequent evolution
of our godlike descendants?".
The next quotation is:
"Techno-humanism agrees that
Homo sapiens as we know it has
run its historical course and
will no longer be relevant in the future,
but
concludes that we should
therefore use technology in order
to create Homo Deus- a much
superior human model".
