the IT industry for
25 years dealing with
all things data.

a very well known
telecoms company
called Verizon who
are based in the US.
Finally, we will look at
a conclusion and how
you can move forward
to implement data visualization
properly in your organization.

Data visualization is a
graphical representation
of data and information.
I like to think of it
as drawing with data.
For those of you
for whom charts and
graphs evoke memories
of school days,
I'm glad to tell you that it's
a much more interesting topic
these days than you
might have come across.
It's also an essential skill
for businesses and it's
an essential skill to become
data fluent and data literate.
Data visualization uses visual
elements such as charts,
graphs and maps to help make
data more understandable
and accessible.
It helps us to analyze and
understand large datasets.
Humans are not designed to
understand billions of
data points all at once.
But data visualization
helps to provide
a short hand so that we can
understand the data better.
From a business perspective,
it helps us to identify
trends and patterns and it
helps us to communicate the
insights of the data better.
If you want to hear the
voice of the customer,
then that is stored in
the data that the
customer gives to you.
The easiest shortcuts
to understanding
the data is to use
data visualization.
