1. Since the Q4-'13 update, the extensions '_1_2,' '_1_3,' & '_1_4' have been trimmed from the talk codes to convert them all to four digits. The original talk codes were the source of the MARC record control number in field 001 and have been retained there in their old format. The current talk codes have been added in field 028. The links from URLs containing the old talk codes will continue to work as before.

2. One new talk title below has been cross-listed:

3. In order to enable access to mobile devices, it has been necessary to change the talk code/URL in 34 records. Details can be found in this file HST_Old+New_Talk_Codes_Table_2013-10.xls. Revised records for these talks are available here. Note the old talk code has been retained in the record control number in field 001. The new code has been added to field 028.50.

4. As first noted in October 2012, the 2012 Quarter 3, and subsequent XLS raw data files do not include the Talk-Detail URL (previously in column BC). In the redesigned HST site, launched early September 2012, the talk details were moved to the talk player page (URL in column BA of the XLS file). The separate page that previously contained this information no longer exists. Note that these URLs no longer automatically redirect to the talk player page and are now obsolete. They were never included in the MARC data provided by HST, but if they have been added to any records or finding aids they should be deleted.

1. The file "HST_TBLSC_Q1-2012_64-new-records_Apr-2012_1.zip" contains a record for an earlier talk, 1369_1_3 "VEGF Inhibitors for Anti-Angiogenic Therapy" by Kari Alitalo and Bronislaw Pytowski, which was missing from previous MARC batches.

2. The talk "Chemokines and their receptors" by Amanda Proudfoot has been listed within the series "Cells of the Innate Immune System" in addition to the previous listing within "Cytokines".

3. The talk "An introduction to the interleukin-1 family of cytokines" by John Sims has been listed within the series "Cells of the Innate Immune System" in addition to the previous listing within "Cytokines".

1. The talk "Toll-like receptor signalling during infection and inflammation" by Luke O'Neill has been listed within the series "Cytokines" in addition to the previous listing within "Molecular Basis of Bacterial Infection".

1. The talk "The human indigenous microbiota " by David Relman has been listed within the series "Microbiota" in addition to the previous listing within "Molecular Basis of Bacterial Infection".

2. A change has been made to the talk code and talk length of "Arachidonic Acid and Store-Independent Ca2+" by Luca Munaron, and "Ca2+ Alterations in Familial Alzheimer's Disease (FAD)" by Paola Pizzo. The MARC records have been updated to take account of this.

3. A record for the talk "Vaccines: a health insurance of the 21st Century" by Rino Rappuoli was released for Quarter 2, 2010. Because of a publication delay, that record was withdrawn from later files. It has now been included with the new records for Quarter 3, 2011.

1. The talk "Modular Protein-Protein Interactions Provide a General Mechanism to Organize Dynamic Cellular Systems" by Prof. Tony Pawson has been listed within the series "Protein Phosphorylation" in addition to the previous listing within "Signal Transduction via Protein Tyrosine Kinase Receptors." A revised MARC record is available for this talk.

1. The talk "X chromosome inactivation in human cells" by Barbara Migeon has been moved from the series "Topical Talks " to the series "Epigenetics".
