In 2001 Dr. Morgenstern became Professor of Biochemical Toxicology at the Institute of Environmental Medicine, Karolinska Institutet. A close relative to microsomal glutathione transferase, prostaglandin E synthase, was discovered in 1999 and is studied in a collaborative project.
