Dr. Susanne Durst is a Full Professor of Management at the Department of Business and Economics of Reykjavik University (Iceland) and an Adjunct Professor at Tallinn University of Technology (Estonia). Her research interests include knowledge (risk) management, innovation management, responsible digitalization and sustainable business development in the context of small... read moreentrepreneurial companies. She has been conducting several national and international research projects on knowledge management, SME business transfers, corporate governance, and innovation management. Her work has been widely published in international peer-reviewed journals and recognised through various awards, including the Transeo Academic Award in 2012 and the Emerald Literati Award “Outstanding Paper“ in 2020 and 2023. She is also an active editorial board member, for example, the Editor-in-Chief of the Bottom Line journal. Before joining academia, she worked in private companies of various sizes and industries.
