Dr. Piotr Marek Jaworski is a Senior Lecturer in International Economics at the University of Dundee Business School, recognized for bridging academic excellence with practical policy implementation. Dr. Jaworski earned... read morehis MA from the Warsaw School of Economics, MSc from the London School of Economics, and MBA from the University of Minnesota. His 2003 PhD in pension system economics received first prize for best Polish Economics thesis from the French BISE bank and directly shaped Polish pension reforms. While teaching economics in Warsaw, he simultaneously served as Advisor to the Minister of Finance, participating in EU accession negotiations on commercial insurance. Since relocating to the UK, he has progressed from University College London to Edinburgh Napier University (2006-2023) and now Dundee, leading programs including MSc International Business Management while pioneering transnational education across Asia. At Dundee, Dr. Jaworski serves as Programme Leader for MA Economics, teaching "Business Skills for Economists," "International Strategies," and "Managing International Trade and Investment." A Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Certified Management & Business Educator, he was honoured with the Outstanding Polish in Scotland (Science) Award in 2014.
