From 2019-2021, D.M. was an independent group leader at Goethe University Frankfurt before being appointed full professor and chair of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry at LMU Munich. His research focuses on nuclear receptors and their ligands, the development of chemical probes and tools, and the application of artificial intelligence in molecular design.
