Dr. Angelina Fong is a cardiorespiratory neurophysiologist, and Physiology Discipline Co-ordinator, in the Department of Anatomy and Physiology, at the University of Melbourne, Australia. After earning her PhD in Pharmacology at Monash University, she went on to continue her research in the United States, and Canada on the control of... read morecardiovascular and respiratory systems within the brainstem, focusing on their response to environment changes, before taking up a position as Lecturer at University of Melbourne. Driven by her passion for teaching, Angelina received the prestigious Award for Learning and Teaching Excellence from the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences in 2019, recognizing her innovative approaches to physiological education and curriculum integration of employability skills within the curriculum.
