He started his career as a climate scientist at Princeton University and MIT, was a Partner of global consultancy McKinsey & Company, where he was a leader of its Sustainability and Resource Productivity Practice, and was the Chief Strategy Officer of The Nature Conservancy, one of the largest conservation organizations in the world. He is a published author and has contributed to the development of several documentaries for PBS. He is also the co-founder of Chloris Geospatial, a venture-backed company dedicated to measuring nature’s contribution to the global economy.
