Ola Landgren received his MD from the Karolinska Institute followed by a fellowship in hematology/internal medicine at Karolinska University Hospital. His research focuses on the development of novel treatment strategies and advanced disease monitoring by new minimal residual disease (MRD) assays, as well as biological studies focusing on disease and... read morehost biology. He is one of the pioneers in the development of MRD testing in myeloma. Dr. Landgren has developed new strategies, including cell-based, molecular-based and imaging-based and implemented advanced MRD testing in clinical trials at MSK. He is also involved in the service’s rational treatment program for patients and leads the development of a structured program for the education and mentoring of residents and fellows in the Myeloma Service.
