Her particular interests include strategies which encourage board effectiveness through better leadership and increased organisational diversity.

Her focus is on increasing and developing skills to support inclusive and effective ways of communicating, managing organisational relationships and increasing constructive working practices. Her sessions address and offer responses to the challenges of creating & sustaining balanced organisations.

Ruth works with current & aspiring women leaders to develop their responses to the context of uncertainty and change, enabling them to grow and flourish in their careers. Commissioned by the University of Northumbria, Ruth recently designed and delivered a women’s leadership programme and conference for Women in the North of England.

Ruth has worked on a range of change projects in the UK, EMEA and the USA. Clients have included HSBC, Barclays, Swissport, the NHS, Cadbury Trebor Basset, RadioSpares, Department for Education and The United Nations. She lived and worked in Paris for 14 years and speaks fluent French.
