Michael Sherman researches molecular and cellular biology, and teaches at the Department of Biochemistry at Boston University. He received his undergraduate and graduate training at Moscow University, Russia, and did postdoctoral research at Harvard University Medical School, later moving into a faculty position. He joined the Boston Biomedical Research Institute... read morein 1995, and moved to Boston University in 2000. His current areas of interest are cellular mechanisms of protein aggregation and role of heat shock proteins in senescence of cancer cells.
