Floria Volynskaya is the Director of Instructional Design at Robert H. Smith School of Business at University of Maryland. She graduated from the Honors Program at Villa Julie College (now Stevenson University) with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and Biology and a Minor in English, and has... read morereceived an MBA from Robert H. Smith School of Business. She has over a decade of experience utilizing educational technology and in the design, development, and delivery of courses. Before joining Smith, Floria served as an instructional designer for Foster Knowledge, where she led the design of multimedia components for the Maryland State Department of Education's contract for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM), including online, blended, and face-to-face courses. Floria previously spent six years with Howard Community College coordinating e-learning, aiding faculty with instructional technology, and teaching over 50 courses to students of diverse backgrounds. Floria also has served as an instructional design and pedagogy expert for USAID projects in Belarus. Floria is fluent in several languages and loves animals, rock climbing, and Broadway.
