Biography

Since 2010, Dr. Edgar D. Goluch is the DiPietro Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at Northeastern University. Ed received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He remained at Illinois for graduate school, receiving a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Ph.D. in Bioengineering. From 2008... read moreto 2010, Dr. Goluch was a NSF Postdoctoral Fellow at Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands where he helped develop nanoscale electrochemical sensors. He received a NSF BRIGE Award in 2011 to use the sensors to study bacteria. Ed has published over 40 peer-reviewed journal articles and conference proceedings in the areas of microfluidics, sensors, and biophysics.
