Thomas Perls MD, MPH is Professor of Medicine and Geriatrics at Boston University School of Medicine and the Director of the New England Centenarian Study, which he founded in 1995. He is a practicing geriatrician as well, attending on Boston Medical Center's acute geriatrics service.
