Ronald G. Crystal is Chairman of the Department of Genetic Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and Attending Physician in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. He received undergraduate degrees in physics from Tufts University and the University of Pennsylvania, and an MD from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining... read moreWeill Cornell in 1993, Dr. Crystal worked at the National Institutes of Health, where he pioneered the application of molecular biology to the pulmonary field. Dr. Crystal's current area of research interest is in defining the genetic basis of lung disease.
