Brian Kelly works for the Innovation Support Centre at UKOLN, University of Bath. In his role as UK Web Focus, he advises the UK's higher and further education communities on best practices and innovation for exploiting web technologies. Mr. Kelly has published papers on various aspects of web developments including... read moreweb standards, preservation of web resources, web accessibility and web 2.0 and the social web. He has given invited keynote presentations at international conferences held in Sweden, Taiwan, Singapore and Australia. Mr. Kelly makes use of a variety of social web services to support his professional activities including his UK Web Focus blog and his @briankelly Twitter account. In 2007 he received the Information World Review's Information Professional of the year award and in 2011 he was the runner-up in the Computer Weekly Social Media Awards in the IT Professional Blogger of the Year category.
