Biography

Christopher J. McDougle, M.D. received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Valparaiso University. He completed medical school at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. McDougle then did his general psychiatry residency at Yale University School of Medicine followed by a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Yale Child... read moreStudy Center. After serving on the faculty in the Yale Department of Psychiatry for 7 years, Dr. McDougle returned to the Indiana University School of Medicine where he is currently the Albert E. Sterne Professor of Psychiatry and Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry. On October 1, 2011, Dr. McDougle will become Director of the Lurie Autism Center at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Endowed Professor at Harvard Medical School.
