Biography

E. Cupp graduated from Murray State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and History in 1964, attended the University of Illinois and obtained a PhD in Entomology (Medical) in 1969, and conducted post-doctoral research at Tulane University School of Public health and Tropical Medicine (1969 – 1971)... read moreas a research fellow and adjunct faculty member. During his career, he has served as a tenured, full professor at several universities, including Cornell University, the University of Arizona and Auburn University. His research background includes field studies in the Americas (Guatemala, Colombia) and Africa (Liberia, Tanzania, Kenya) as well as laboratory investigations of vector-parasite interactions and the long-term colonization of black flies.
