Biography

David Morgan is Professor of Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology, Chief Scientific Officer of the Byrd Alzheimer Institute and Director of Neuroscience Research at the University of South Florida. He received his PhD from Northwestern University. He was appointed full Professor at the University of South Florida in 1998 and received... read morethe President's Faculty of Excellence Award in 2002. For the last 30 years Prof. Morgan's research has focused on learning and memory changes during aging, most recently investigating a transgenic mouse model of amyloid deposition to understand more about Alzheimer's Disease and develop novel therapies for this disorder.
