Ysanne M. Carlisle works in the Centre for Strategy and Marketing in The Open University Business School. She obtained her first degree at the University of Durham. She is part qualified as an accountant and worked in a variety of companies in both the public and private sectors prior to... read moreundertaking an MBA at the University of Strathclyde in Scotland and a PhD at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. She has since undertaken research and consultancy in various companies and has published a number of articles in respected academic journals. Her research is inter-disciplinary, and focuses on complexity dynamics and their implications for policy, strategy, management and corporate social responsibility.
