Dr. Hatch's main research interests include examining the regulation of the metabolism of the polyglycerophospholipid bis-(1,2-diacyl-sn-glycero-3-phospho)-1',3'-sn-glycerol (or cardiolipin, Abbreviated CL). Specifically he is studying the regulation of CL biosynthesis and remodeling in the heart and in mammalian tissues and cells.
