Lisa Wiesner attended Harvard University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1972 before going on to earn her MD at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland ,Ohio in 1977. After that she did a Fellowship in Adolescent Medicine also at Yale and then joined a private pediatric practice in nearby Orange, CT . She has practiced general pediatrics there for the last 36 years maintaining a special interest in autism.
