Biography

Gerard D. Wright is a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences at McMaster University, Canada, and holds the Michael G. DeGroote Chair in Infection and Anti-Infective Research. His research focuses on antimicrobial resistance, antibiotic discovery, and the mechanisms by which bacteria develop resistance to antibiotics.
