Biography

Kathleen Barnes is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Mary Beryl Patch Turnbull Scholar in the Divisions of Allergy & Clinical Immunology and Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine and the Department of Epidemiology, and Director of the Johns Hopkins Bayview Genetic Susceptibility Research Facility and Lowe Family Genomics Core. Her current area of interest is the genetic epidemiology and immunogenetics of complex lung and inflammatory diseases in diverse populations, with a focus on gene-environment interactions.
