Dr. Diane Stephenson is a neuroscientist by training with 30 years combined experience in academic neuroscience and drug discovery. Dr. Stephenson received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at University of California and her Ph.D. in Medical Neurobiology from Indiana University. She spent the majority of her career as a translational... read moreneuroscientist at the largest pharmaceutical companies focusing on disease areas including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Stroke, ALS and Autism Spectrum Disorders.
Dr. Stephenson joined Critical Path Institute in 2011 and leads public private partnerships with the goal of accelerating regulatory endorsed drug development tools for neurodegenerative diseases. She currently leads Critical Path Institute’s initiatives focused on Parkinson’s disease (CPP) and Alzheimer’s disease (CPAD) with a mission to raise the urgency for much needed tools and treatments that focus on early intervention. Her passion centers around putting the patient voice front and central to all stages of drug development and research.
