Ryszard Pluta is Head of the Laboratory of Ischemic and Neurodegenerative Brain Research. He received his undergraduate training at the Medical Academy of Lublin, Humboldt University (Berlin) and University of Cologne. Ryszard's current area of interest is complete brain ischemia, Alzheimer's disease and connection between brain ischemia and Alzheimer's disease.
