Derick Han received his BA in sociology and biochemistry from the University of California at Berkeley and a PhD in molecular pharmacology and toxicology from the School of Pharmacy at the University of Southern California. His previous research focused on topology of superoxide and hydrogen peroxide generation by mitochondria.
