Lara Bauman is a member of the Quantitative Modeling and Analysis Group at Sandia which works on a wide variety of challenging problems in theory: optimization methods, uncertainty quantification, distributions of graphs and in practice: planning for climate change, creating nanoporous materials, designing power grids.
