Jane Harley is the Clinical Lead at the Michael Palin Centre. She works with children, young people and adults who stammer as well as teaching and presenting work at conferences on stuttering as part of the Michael Palin Centre team. As well as training in speech and language therapy she... read morehas trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and also, more recently, in mindfulness and acceptance-based developments in CBT such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. She is intrigued by and excited about how to make the ideas of acceptance-based approaches relevant to young people and parents as well as adults, and also how to use those ideas as a therapist to help deliver the most effective therapy for each client.
